Mitchell J. Baker

Mitchell J. Baker earned his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law in 1980. He was the managing editor of the law review. After receiving his Master of Law degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law in 1981, he was a law clerk for the Honorable Irving Ben Cooper, Untied States District Judge of the Southern District of New York from 1981 to 1983.

Mr. Baker’s practice, which spans over forty years, focuses on sophisticated business affairs involving large, privately held companies and high net worth individuals. He spearheads litigation for the firm in both the Federal Courts and the Courts of the State of New York involving commercial, real estate as well as personal injury lawsuits. Mr. Baker is also in charge of the commercial practice of the firm where he is involved with a myriad of issues from acquisitions and sales of business to contractual dealings among commercial entities.
